Orange River Quartz Crystals
These crystals are found in a majestically barren and remote area through which flows the Orange River. The Orange River rises on the slopes of the Drakensberg mountain and flows west for over 2000km to the Atlantic Ocean. Most of this distance is through semi-desert and it forms a natural border between South Africa and Namibia. Follow the River far enough and you come to the Restricted Security Diamond Access area. One of the richest deposits of diamond in the world, there is no access for the likes of you and I.

These quartz crystals have only recently been found in this area and have a very distinctive orange hue.  To me they present a very gentle energy. Ancient and calming. They are often elestial crystals having triangles both raised and etched into them and are characterized by strong milky phantoms beneath the clear crystals points

The small beds where these unique stones came from are now either emptied or inaccessible. We have received a few more from private collections and miners who may have held some back. Unless another bed is discovered we do not anticipate having them in any quantity again.

Orange River Quartz Cluster #1

Well here is a rare luck, in a box at the back of the store room I came upon a proper Orange healer that had found a spot out of sight. Its a beauty to a floater meaning it formed with out being attached to matrix. It is full of elestial crystals and tiny record keepers. It also has that lovely shade of yellow and gold with the amazing enegery that made them all so famous. We simply do not see these any more and its great to have one up again.

Orange Healer #13

This Orange Healer crystal  is a "floater" meaning it formed with out being attached to a matrix. The crystal formed by floating in a pocket of silicate the iron oxide coating would have occurred many thousands of years later. The formation is notable by all the tiny etchings and triangular formations on the bottom of the stone. A truly delightful crystal with a sharp phantom in the main point.

One exceptional Orange Healer
The cluster its self is made up of three major points that have fused together, while smaller points have grown around them. The golden luster is delightful and the main point has a brilliant phantom.
