A very attractive formation in which elestial crystals circle the shaft of the main crystal, Candle Quartz is typically translucent white. There are also caramel colored specimens of this mineral. The color is caused by the inclusion of Limonite or iron oxide. It is also known as Pineapple quartz in some parts of the world. I have also heard these called Atlantean Lovestars although I am unable to authenticate any connection with Atlantis.
