ELESTIAL QUARTZ CRYSTALS - Metaphysical Information

Over the past few months it has been our privilege to bring to you some wonderful stones from the Orange River area of South Africa. Included in these have been the Orange Healers and the Red Phantom Quartz. As I reviewed our latest stock I was struck by the fact that so many of these are elestial stones. These are recognized by multiple, natural terminations over a layered or etched stone. 

Much information has been written about the Metaphysical properties of elestial crystals notably by Katrina Raphaell in her book Crystal Healing and Melody in A Kaleidoscope of Crystals.

Elestials are considered to assist in the mass cleansing, healing and reawakening that is occurring in these times. Bringing great strengths, they can assist in overcoming emotional burdens and bring body and spirit into synchronicity whilst connecting us with the Angelic realms. For those who wish it Elestials can provide information that enables us to move forward or overcome blockages in our spiritual path and align us with the wisdom of the universe. They bring into the now the elusive, intuitive thoughts we chase about past, present and future accelerating our path towards the light. 

 
ORANGE HEALER QUARTZ CRYSTALS

Orange healers have a coating of iron oxide which gives these specimens their distinct color

 

 

These stones have have the most beautiful, peaceful energy. I have no doubt that they are tremendously powerful healers of body, mind and spirit. They carry all the attributes of Hematite mentioned above along strong milky phantoms and elestial formations.

Phantom Crystals symbolize universal awareness and are an excellent meditation tool.

They came about through a violent and energetic formation.

These stones originally formed with attachment to the matrix. Then through (probably)
seismic activity they were broken from their holdfast. Then there was a second upwelling (and probably more) of silicon rich fluid. It was during these subsequent upwellings that the crystals "floated" and the smaller points formed on the undersides and broken faces of the crystals "healing" the broken hearts of the crystals. The reason that many of them have elestial or "rougher" 
surfaces on the larger (intact) crystal faces is that there was secondary growth on the larger faces as well. However, on the larger crystal faces the new growth tried to follow the original crystal pattern. If they were successful at growing on the intact faces, it left a "phantom" of the original face inside. On the broken faces and undersides of the quartz new points were formed. 

They came about through a violent and energetic formation. Maybe it is this that gives them the air of having empathy with today's world.

Whatever the reason they are another stone for our time.

CANDLE QUARTZ - Metaphysical Information

Yet another elestial, candle quartz helps us to look inwards and discover our truth and our path. A stone of insight sometimes used for scrying it also dissipates feelings of oppression. It increases confidence and sensitively whilst promoting tranquility. This stone also brings the energy of hematite inclusions and a milky phantom

Elestial Quartz Cluster from the Orange River

These amazing Orange River elestial quartz cluster boast some of the most unique hematite inclusions I have seen. Many of the points have fine black inclusions They have a wonderful golden coloration in many places. This is a somewhat rare find as the person I bought this specimen from said that about 10 years back these were found commonly yet he hadn't seen one like it for at least 3 years.
The cluster has a most remarkable energy the hematite and quartz combination is firm favorite of mine  I feel it is grounding out negativity and releasing clear pure energy into my space as I type this. They would be wonderful cluster for grid work or for maintaining a calm pure energy in any area.

Red Phantom Elestial Crystals

 

 
Also from the Orange River area. these stones often have red phantom crystals in the points. They have a vibrant joyous energy. A friend who's has a great intuitive connection to stones describes them as her "Dancing Red Ladies".

The last few weeks we have had an exciting new find come our way. These are a most unusual quartz which, like the Orange Healers, only comes from one bed along the course of the Orange River. 

When I first saw one of these stones I was immediately drawn to it, even though it was amongst a large array of assorted rock specimens. I showed it to somebody who's metaphysical intuition regarding stones I respect enormously. She was equally enchanted by these stones. Since then a few more have come our way. 

They have very distinct characteristics. All are beautifully elestial. Milky quartz with red hematite phantom inclusions pepper the stone. This is in turn covered by clear quartz and all have a fine coating of Epidote on the obverse faces. Truly beautiful to look at they have a very distinct energy. I have used them as a focus in personal and group meditations. As room stones. As "thought stones" when contemplating a situation or seeking a solution they have proved remarkably effective. When one considers the combination of Elestial formation, milky quartz, epidote and hematite I suppose that their ability to inspire and engender a feeling of empowerment and overwhelming peace is not surprising. Nevertheless every time I pick one up my initial reaction is "Oh my, but your are beautiful". They also work extremely well with both the third eye and the heart chakra.

Not only do they bring all the quality of elestial stones but also those of the minerals of which they consist.

Metaphysical Information

Hematite.

Useful for orderly thinking, memory enhancement and mental attunement it is also a calming stone. It assists us to be the best we can be and to balance body mind and spirit. Hematite dissolves negative energy and facilitate the attainment of peace, self control and inner happiness.

Epidote

Aids in spiritual awakening and clears the aura. It enhances perception and stimulates interaction. Epidote helps one to keep an open mind and helps in attunement to all aspects of awareness and manifestation.

Combine these with the natural amplifying qualities of quartz and you have a very special and powerful mixture.

It has been said of this age that special stones appear when the time is right. I believe these Orange River Elestials to be a such a stone.
