 QUARTZ CRYSTAL ENHYDRO

Here at Metastones we were recently lucky enough to be able to purchase some top quality enhydro crystals from the Brandberg and Erongo areas of Namibia. Enhydro quartz crystal is certainly amongst my favorite stones both for their ascetic beauty as mineral specimens and fantastic metaphysical qualities.

Enhydro crystals contain fluid most often water although some very rare cases plant oil. A bubble of gas moves through the water. Enhydros really resonate with me. Contained within each enhydro crystal is water that has remained unchanged and pure for eons. As such I have always associated enhydro with cleansing and purification, be it emotional, spiritual or mundane. Water is also a great element for dream or meditation work  It is the element of feeling and as such helps me intuit the information I am receiving correctly. In cases where the bubbles move in these earth treasures they also teach us to flow easily through our troubles much as the bubbles freely flow in the pockets of water. I have also found them very helpful in healing and divination work.  Some, like so many crystals from the Brandberg are also have amethyst inclusions.
But enough from me, these  enhydro quartz crystals are more than capable of speaking for themselves.

	This is a lovely lilac colored brandberg with some great devic activity and a small free moving enhydro bubble. The point is perfect and the color delightful. Clear quartz ehydro#2

Clear quartz crystal from the brandberg area, the shaft is flecked with lepidochrosite and contains a beuatiful small smoky patch. The large bubble is easily visible and has a lot of movement, the point is in great condition with only a small knick. The base of the crystal is milky and the shaft clear making it some what a yin and yang crystal, representing both masculine and feminine energy.
