Fluorite
Fluorite is a relatively soft stone that comes in several colors
including yellow, blue, green and purple. The combination of these properties
made it a popular stone for ornamentation amongst both the ancient Egyptians and
the Chinese who also used it as a tincture. Often the colors band together to
produce what is know of as rainbow
fluorite.
Fluorite is a wonderful stone for amplifying energies, it is very conductive and
seems to take well to most vibrations. I have often used fluorite to help raise energies
during meditations.
The Namibian fluorite is very unique and many of our friends in America and
around the world have said its feels very different from any other fluorite they
have ever used or encountered. The mine at Okorusu has been inactive for some
time now we are how ever thrilled to announce that it is being actively mined
again after a large fluorite deposit was discovered. If you are looking for a

Metaphysical Properties of Fluorite
All colors of fluorite are effective for auric cleansing and assists in reaching a deeper state of meditation. It encourages stability and the reaching of goals. Purple fluorite can be used to open the third eye and increase psychic awareness. It is used to assist in effective meditation and is associated with spiritual wholeness.
Green Fluorite is a stone of healing at all levels. It
encourages you to approach a situation calmly and act decisively.
Purple fluorite is a stone of intuition aiding one in seeing to the heart of
matters also usefull in divination and dreams a very intuitive stone.

This self standing
quartz point is surrounded by fluorite and mica with hints of hyalite.
The point is great condition and the fluorite has a lovely gemmy
quality. The quartz has a matt quality with contrasts brilliantly with
the vibrant fluorite. The energy of the stone is very uplifting and
energizing the quartz seeming to amplify the fluorite. This would be a
fantastic stone for both meditation and healing work the green and
purple adding a healing and intuitive feel to the stone. |
Rare Fluorite Scepter

Here is another
first for metastones, prior to this crystal I had never seen a fluorite
scepter before. Since then they have surfaced at a few mineral shows and
been warmly received. The color is delightful with a green base and
clear tip that the green just emanates through. I bought this from a
miner in Namibia who seemed as surprised to have found it as I was to
see it. Hopefully I will have its cousin a twin pointed scepter cleaned
and on site soon. This is a little beauty both for its aesthetics and

hyalite cluster on a black tourmaline matrix. The fluorite is bi-colored
displaying blue, greens and purples with gemmy hyalite crystals. The
black tourmaline matrix has some crystals as well the hyalite is also

this cluster brings to my mind is magnificent. innumerable large gemmy
fluorite sit atop a more solid fluorite matrix with mica crystals. The
variety of colour is great too, greens, blues and purples in a variety of
shades. A lot of the crystals have a great clarity and some are even
translucent making the cluster shine in strong light. The energy of this
